Player Ratings: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur (Europa League final)

Manchester United are losing 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur at half-time in the final of the Europa League at the Estadio de San Mamés.

The opening 45 minutes of the Europa League final have been cagey to say the least. Both teams look nervy defensively but Manchester United edged the half in terms of quality.

Ruben Amorim’s side have had more possession and look comfortable when they aren’t in their own box, for the most part at least.

But when it came into the box, they were a bag of nerves and that has been defined by André Onana, who was questionable at best for the goal on the turn of half-time.

United need to take their chances and give the ball to Amad more, and have some more composure when you are defending.

Player ratings so far are below.

United player ratings vs Spurs in Europa League final

André Onana – 3/10

Looked nervy all half and poor for the goal.

Leny Yoro – 6/10

He’s doing a good job on his return to the side.

Harry Maguire – 7/10

Winning all of his duels against Solanke.

Luke Shaw – 5/10

Needs to stay switched on, a couple moments where he looked to lose concentration. His crossing has been dangerous.

Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10

Rising high for challenges but one was a bit silly. Strong in duels.

Casemiro – 7.5/10

Cut out a couple of dangerous attacks, a brilliant cross-field pass.

Bruno Fernandes – 6/10

Strong in duels, you want him to get on the ball more though.

Patrick Dorgu – 6.5/10

Really energetic, a dangerous cross and doing his defensive duties.

Amad – 7.5/10

Keep. Passing. Him. The. Ball. He has Udogie on toast.

Mason Mount – 6/10

Energetic and important when United don’t have the ball, but feels like a matter of time until Garnacho replaces him for the offensive threat.

Rasmus Højlund – 5/10

Ran the challenges more effectively, won a couple of fouls.
