Sesko has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and he turned down Arsenal last summer because of concerns over his game time. The report claims that three clubs in the top-flight are keen on signing him in the upcoming transfer window, including the Reds.
Liverpool's hopes of are aided by the 41-cap Slovenian international's being "keen on a move" and his (£85m) €100m fee "could be reduced". They have also worked on a potential deal after holding talks last year, which could put them in a strong position should Nunez depart, as expected.
According to reports in Spain, Chelsea are one of their competitors in the race for Sesko, whose agent called him "one of the fastest forwards in Europe". A potential move to Stamford Bridge could rest on whether Enzo Maresca's men qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Sesko isn't the only option for Slot, with Ben Jacobs recently informing GIVEMESPORT that Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike is on their shortlist. They are admirers of Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, but they are likely to have a hard time prising him away from St James' Park.
The Reds are also looking to strengthen in midfield after they complete their £30m signing of right-back Jeremie Frimpong. They are in a battle with Bayern Munich for German attacker Florian Wirtz, who is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
