Manchester United should sack Ruben Amorim tonight following the club's unforgivable performance in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
United came into the clash in Bilbao knowing that they could partially rescue a dreadful season domestically by lifting a major trophy and qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Instead, they produced yet another miserable display under Amorim which leaves the club in a difficult position.
Man United Barely Laid a Glove on Tottenham
The Red Devils have been awful for months

While they had a couple of late opportunities, the Red Devils rarely threatened Spurs' defence throughout the 90 minutes despite knowing what was at stake, leaving Amorim - described as a 'total chancer' by journalist Alfie House - with a lot to contemplate in the coming days and weeks.
But he shouldn't have the time to do that.
INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe now need to act swiftly and relieve the Portuguese coach of his duties - immediately.
This isn't a knee-jerk reaction to one poor performance and result, this is something that has been brewing for months - outside of their run to the Europa League final - with United yet to reach 40 points in the Premier League and lying in 16th position with one game to play.
In 2025 in the top flight, United have only managed to beat the three relegated clubs - Leicester City, Ipswich and Southampton - all at home, and Fulham away.
The loss to Tottenham was their 20th of a miserable campaign, and it is clear that the squad needs gutting and a huge rebuild if it is to be successful under the style Amorim wants to play.
United Won't Have Champions League Transfer Budget
They could miss out on key targets like Gyokeres and Delap

United were more likely to be able to perform major surgery with Champions League football and a large transfer budget, but that has now disappeared.
United are without European football next season and it will no doubt affect them in the summer window, with reports suggesting that the likes of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres and Ipswich Town centre-forward Liam Delap want to play in Europe's elite competition next season.
One positive for United is that they are still on course to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the Brazilian forward willing to move to Old Trafford even without Champions League qualification.
