Leeds United’s Harry Gray takes aim at Manchester United star with brutal Europa League dig

Former Leeds United man Archie Gray has lifted the Europa League trophy with Tottenham this evening, prompting a callback from his younger brother Harry.

Leeds come into an intriguing Premier League setup next season, with one of 16th or 17th playing Champions League football next season depending on the result of tonight’s Europa League final.

For a couple of reasons, Leeds fans were hoping for a Spurs win against Manchester United in Bilbao – one to goad the Old Trafford club more, and the other being Archie Gray playing for the North London club.

It was a game devoid of quality for 90 minutes, befitting of two sides sitting in the places just above the Premier League relegation zone, but Ange Postecoglou’s men edged out victory through a scrappy first-half goal.

Man United’s second half onslaught of hopeful balls into the box ended up yielding very little as they were left heartbroken at full-time, losing 1-0 to ensure their season ends in the worst possible fashion.

Spurs celebrate not only ending their 17-year trophy drought, but also qualifying for Champions League, while Man United’s misery continues.

Rubbing their noses in it online was Leeds sensation and Archie Gray’s younger brother, Harry Gray.

He made reference on his Instagram story to a message posted by Harry Maguire after last year’s playoff final:

“Hope everyone had a fantastic Wednesday.”
