The Greek Freak has one of the immediate reactions on losing in the MVP race.
Fans were divided on his X post. Some thought he was bitter about it or that it should be a major scoop.

Others think he’s just trolling. Before this post, he agreed to former teammate Patrick Beverley that he’s just having fun on social media and is just trolling everyone.

The Greek Freak’s tweet is of course a reference to the time when Luka Doncic was traded by the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis.
Antetokokounmpo has been in good spirit this summer amidst all the trade rumors linking him to several teams.
He even responded to several questions after that NBA MVP post.
Giannis Antetokounmpo the best MVP loser?
Antetokounmpo may have lost the MVP award but his stats remains incredible and unparalleled.
According to StatMuse, the Bucks star is the only player in league history to finish the regular season with a 30/10/5 on 60+ FG%. And he did that back to back. Unfortunately for him, it was not enough to win the most prestigious individual award.

Antetokounmpo won the MVP twice already in 2019 and 2020. He also won the Defensive Player of the Year in 2020, making him just the third placer in NBA history to win both MVP and DPOY in a single season.
