While the question of where Giannis will be playing next season remains unanswered, the Greek superstar may have just dropped a hint to European basketball fans about where he could land after his NBA career.

The two-time NBA MVP recently responded to a fan on social media who asked him to come to Fenerbahce, teasing Turkish fans with the possibility of joining one of the country's EuroLeague powerhouses in the future.

"Maybe when I retire from the NBA," Giannis replied to fan on X. "Fener or Efes?"

Although it would make more sense for Antetokounmpo to return to Europe and play for a Greek team like Panathinaikos or Olympiacos, given he's Greek. But he dismissed the idea of retiring at one of Greece’s biggest clubs. In an interview at last year’s EuroLeague Final Four, he said he would rather own one of the teams than play for them.
