Jack Grealish could be set to leave Manchester City this summer after falling out of favour at the Etihad in recent months.
The England international has started in just 16 of his 32 appearances this season, where he’s registered three goals and five assists.
Football Insider revealed on 13 May Grealish will seek assurances from Pep Guardiola ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider the club could let the winger go on a free transfer this summer to get his wages off the books.
Grealish, who joined Man City in a £100million deal from Aston Villa in 2021, is under contract at the Etihad until June 2027.
The 29-year-old’s salary is believed to be worth around £300,000 a week.

Jack Grealish could agree temporary Man City exit
Borson suggested Man City could be tempted to let Grealish go out on loan this summer.
He told Football Insider: “We know from Rashford that teams will get creative on deals for these sorts of players and it may be that since you have to pay half the wages, I don’t know whether they’re going to be interested in doing that, but look how many minutes he’s played this season.
“So, getting in let’s say £150,000 of his wages per week is obviously better than having him sat on the bench doing nothing and not playing.
“I think he’s started four games since Christmas, including the FA Cup games, so he’s not wanted by Pep. I think that’s now completely clear.
“He’s on so much money that really the only people that could buy him would be in Saudi.
“So, what’s the option? The option is either you sell him and effectively give him a free transfer probably or you’re loaning him with the hope that he can have a great season and you can pull in maybe £20million next summer.
“But that would only get you back to where you started anyway, so I think if they could find somebody that would take him probably on a free to just get rid of the wages, I think they might take that.
“Although that would have implications from a PSR perspective because they would crystallise something like maybe a £30million hit from a PSR perspective because that would be a loss versus his book value if they let him go for zero.
“It’s hard to say exactly what will happen, but it looks very likely he’s going to leave.”
