Yoro also came closest to scoring from a Bruno Fernandes free-kick. The £46 million-rated star was the stand-out performer despite a 1-0 defeat, in our view.
United have a big summer ahead. There could be plenty of changes despite the club failing to qualify for the Champions League with Europa League glory.
The onus could be on lowering the hefty wage bill. Casemiro has undergone a tremendous transformation under manager Ruben Amorim in recent months.
However, he could be one of those heading for the exit door with no European football next season.
United need to build the squad around their emerging stars. Yoro is definitely one of them. The wonderkid has shown that he could be a leader in future.
The Red Devils have one more league game against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.
It has been a wretched campaign with just 39 points from 37 games, but the Red Devils must end the season on a decent note by beating Unai Emery’s side.
United are 16th in the standings and could drop down to 17th behind Spurs with a defeat if the London club pick up a point against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Hopefully, the players will turn up with a strong display and a win at the weekend.
