Jarell Quansah has caught the attention of several top clubs across Europe ahead of the summer transfer window. Though he recently made his 40th start for Liverpool, only 13 of those appearances have come this season. That is a sign that his role in the squad may be slipping.

A new era under Arne Slot is on the horizon. So, the Reds haven’t ruled out selling the 22-year-old centre-back yet. The interest is said to be coming from both Premier League sides and German clubs for the player.
Newcastle, however, remain long-time admirers of the defender. They have previously discussed a deal that could’ve involved their forward Anthony Gordon heading to Anfield. At that time, Liverpool reportedly valued Quansah at around £50 million.
Slot’s Summer Plans Could Push Quansah Toward the Exit
Virgil van Dijk committed his future, and contract talks are also being held with Ibrahima Konate. As such, the Reds’ defensive rebuild could leave Quansah even further behind in the line. The club’s chase for centre-backs like Ajax’s Jorrel Hato and Benfica’s Tomas Araujo show signs of their planning for exits.
However, Bundesliga could also tempt Quansah for the next few seasons. The success of young English stars like Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho in Germany could help him make his stance.
He has signed a new deal last October that ties him to Liverpool until 2029. But, Quansah’s future seems far from secure for the next term.
