David Moyes has turned Everton’s season around and they’re now guaranteed to finish in 13th place, above the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
13th place will earn Everton around £140m in prize money, so they’ve managed to significantly improve their finances ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Friedkin Group are planning to back Moyes with a healthy budget in what’s expected to be a very busy window.
It looks like Jarrad Branthwaite will be staying too, as Man United will no longer be able to afford his £80m price tag after losing the Europa League last night, thus failing to qualify for the Champions League.
So the future is certainly bright at Everton, and former player Francis Jeffers has just revealed something that only amplifies that.

What Francis Jeffers is now hearing about David Moyes at Everton
Francis Jeffers, speaking to the Liverpool Echo, has shared some very insightful information he’s hearing about David Moyes.
Jeffers has been told by Everton insiders that the Scotsman has been having late nights at Finch Farm studying footage with his staff.
“But the lads have told me he’s still at the training ground late into the night, watching videos and studying them with his staff,” the 44-year-old revealed.

“That shows you the type of fan he is and how determined he is to do well. For someone who has managed so long, to still have that drive is unbelievable.”
Everton are clearly in safe hands under Moyes’ stewardship, and it’s encouraging to hear that he’s totally obsessed with getting the club back to its previous heights.
Jordan Pickford says Moyes’ man management is excellent
Since returning, all the chatter coming out of Finch Farm has been about just how committed Moyes is to bringing the good times back.
Jordan Pickford recently came out and explained how ambitious he is about the future on Merseyside.
“The gaffer set the standards high and we demand that from each other ourselves,” Pickford told Everton’s website.
“On the training pitch, you want to win every day in training and the manager drives that. Then it’s about us driving ourselves on as well. It filters through the team, that’s what we want.”
With the right recruitment in the summer, the Toffees could genuinely be looking at a European push next season.
It’s not impossible by any means, but they must get it bang on.
