Alejandro Garnacho has dropped a huge hint over a potential transfer away from Manchester United following Wednesday night's Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
United suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Spurs in Bilbao to confirm their worst-ever season in 51 years. Brennan Johnson's scrappy first-half goal was the difference to bring Champions League football to north London.
Ruben Amorim's men came close to equalising through Diogo Dalot's stoppage time header in what was a frustrating evening in Spain.
Garnacho, who was named on the bench at the Estadio de San Mames, came on the final 20 minutes on the left wing looking to cause damage. However, he was unable to break down Spurs' stubborn defence.
The winger had started 10 of United's previous 14 Europa League fixtures but Mason Mount was selected ahead of him alongside Amad behind the striker.
After Garnacho's brother, Roberto, caused a stir with his post on social media, the United winger spoke to some members of the media in the mixed zone as a visibly frustrated figure.

Speaking to ESPN Argentina, he said: “I played every round to help the team reach the final, and today I only got 20 minutes… I don’t know.
"I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.” He added: "This season was s***, losing the final and not beating anyone in the league.”
Garnacho is one of the players at Old Trafford who could now be sold in the summer transfer window to raise funds.
The Argentina international attracted interest from Chelsea and Napoli in January and his situation is expected to be monitored during the summer.
