Tiago Pinto says Bournemouth player hasn’t received official offer, but confirms transfer talks

AFC Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen will join Real Madrid next month after they activated his release clause.

The Spain international isn’t the only Bournemouth player on the La Liga club’s agenda.

Thursday’s edition of Sport reports Real Madrid are said to be looking at Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez for the summer window.

Los Blancos seem to have asked the Cherries about the left-back and their interest to sign him has also been reported. The 21-year-old has starred under Andoni Iraola’s orders this season and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.

The newspaper states Real Madrid will face competition from the Premier League. Recent claims from the UK reported both Liverpool and Manchester City are keen and are said to be ahead of the Spanish giants.

Sport have also relayed comments from Bournemouth managing director Tiago Pinto on the Hungary international. His contract lasts until 2028 and the Premier League club have no official offers for him yet.

“We have not yet received any official offer to sign [sell] Kerkez. We only have verbal conversations with some players’ agents,” he said.

The fullback could follow Huijsen to leave the English club in the upcoming window. He played 3,475 minutes from 40 games for Bournemouth this season.
