Wolves will be in the market for a new striker this summer, and Yuri Alberto appears to be of interest again.
Wolves are going to be busy in the next window, with a number of players leaving – especially in the forward areas.
Matheus Cunha seems highly likely to depart, with Manchester United closing in on a move.
But the likes of Pablo Sarabia, Hwang Hee-chan and Goncalo Guedes could all follow the Brazilian out.
Fabio Silva could also leave Wolves permanently this summer, and there are still question marks over how viable Sasa Kalajdzic will be next season.
So Wolves want a new striker, and Yuri Alberto is of interest.
And there is word of just how advanced the interest is.

Alberto is a player Wolves have held an interest in for a while now.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves considered a move for Alberto midway through the 2023/24 season – with there being a suggestion a deal was in place.
But Alberto’s agent demanded more money at the eleventh hour, and a deal did not materialise.
Earlier this week, it was suggested Corinthians are expecting a £30 million bid from Wolves for Alberto – but now there’s been an update.
Journalist Nicola Jorge has spoken to Alberto’s agent André Cury, who has offered word on where the situation is at.
He said (via Bolavip): “I spoke with André Cury, and he assures me that there is no official proposal.
“At this moment, there are only preliminary talks seeking information. According to André, everything is very premature.”
Yuri Alberto scores last minute winner for Corinthians
So it seems there may not be anything really in Wolves’ interest in Alberto just at the moment.
But there could well be developments once the Cunha to United transfer is finalised.
Last night though, Alberto made headlines for scoring a last-gasp winner for Corinthians in their third round match with Grêmio Novorizontino in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil.
It was a tidy finish, with Alberto cutting inside the defender and finishing low into the bottom corner.
Corinthians are now in the last 16 and are awaiting their next opponents.
