Man United ready to cash-in on£108 million striking duo

Man United are ready to let 2 of their attacking players leave this summer. The two players costed the Red Devils combined total of £108 million. But, the Premier League giants now have to accept a major loss on their investment.

Man United are having a very tough season right now. They are on 16th position in the Premier League. And if that was not enough, they have recently lost Europa League final against Spurs. Hence, some key changes are expected to happen at United this summer.

United are set to sign some key players in the summer window. But, they are not in a very good financial state. Hence, they will have to sell some of their current players first. This will help the club to open up space and raise funds.

Man United ready to sell both strikers

According to The Independent, United are ready to sell both Zirkzee and Hojlund. The Danish striker costed the club £72 million whereas Dutch striker costed £36 million. The Red Devils will now have to accept loss on their initial investment as both strikers have flopped at Old Trafford.

Zirkzee arrived last summer as a talented youngster. But, he failed to adapt to Premier League. He has scored only 7 goals in 49 games. As a result, the club has not been impressed with him. They are open to sell him and a return to Serie A is heavily talked on about.

On the other hand, Hojlund joined the Red Devils in 2022. He had a decent first season but has not been able to improve. This season, he has scored 10 goals in 51 games. The Danish striker is also heavily linked with a return to Serie A.

🚨 Manchester United lead the race to sign Liam Delap but a defeat in the Europa League final and the lack of European football next season would hand Chelsea the advantage.

As for United, they are in search of a new striker. Currently, they are heavily linked with Liam Delap. The Englishman will cost £30 million this summer. But, as United have failed win Europa League, they will miss UCL next season. This may result in failure to land Delap.
