In recent weeks, Napoli have been presented as key candidates in the race to land Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
It now seems as if the Belgian is nearing a move to the Italian side and confidence is rising around the potential transfer. Corriere dello Sport report Napoli are in pole position to land the soon-to-depart Manchester City player, who has now found a house in the city.
This comes after it was reported that De Bruyne’s wife was looking at property in Naples. The couple got married nearby and initially it was reported they were struggling to find a suitable house, now that appears to have changed.
Corriere dello Sport state that the midfielder’s legal representatives have seen the contract Napoli have put forward for their client, and it would be a two-year deal.
The Partenopei are offering the Manchester City player a similar salary to what Victor Osimhen earns, having improved on their initial offer. Napoli are said to be the first club to have seriously moved for the 33-year-old and that is proving to be an advantage in the race.
Corriere dello Sport also report Juventus are moving into the picture.
