Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to play his final game for Liverpool against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Liverpool players have responded to Andy Robertson’s emotional message to Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the right-back’s final game with the club. It was confirmed this month that Alexander-Arnold will not be extending his contract with the Reds.
He is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of his deal with Liverpool. His exit ends a 20-year stay at Anfield, which has seen the player win one Champions League, two Premier Leagues, one FA Cup and two League Cups.
The 26-year-old’s final game will come at Anfield against Crystal Palace on Sunday, the game that will see the Reds lift the Premier League trophy. Ahead of that match, Robertson sent a message to his fellow full-back.

"My brother, where to even start! It has been an absolute privilege watching you grow from a boy to a man over these last 8 years," he wrote on Instagram. "You have won it all and created amazing memories along the way.
"I want to thank you for constantly pushing me to new limits and setting the bar so high that I had no choice but to follow. You are going to be a huge miss around the training ground and an even bigger miss on the pitch.
"I hope all the hard work you have put into this club, the moments you have given us and the massive contribution you have made are recognised as they should be..... Wingmen one last time."
Liverpool players new and old have made their feelings on the message clear. The post was ‘liked’ by Cody Gakpo, Ibrahim Konate, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa, Dominik Szoboszlai, Conor Bradley, Kostas Tsimikas, Wataru Endo, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Ryan Gravenberch, among others.
Former players including James Milner, Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino also ‘liked’ the post. Milner also responded in the replies with two heart and clapping emojis, while Henderson also posted a heart emoji.
Alexander-Arnold shared the post on his own Instagram story, along with the caption “Wingmen” with a red heart emoji. He also gave a response in the replies to the post, where he wrote: “My brother memories to last a lifetime, thank you for everything. One last dance.” with a red heart emoji.
