Everton will be very busy this summer transfer window as several first-teamers are set to leave on free transfers.
Ashley Young, Michael Keane and Abdoulaye Doucoure are among the Everton players confirmed to leave.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Idrissa Gana Gueye have yet to pen a renewal, so their futures remain up in the air.
So quite clearly, Everton have a lot of work to do in the transfer market, and David Moyes has already drawn up a list of targets.
One of his midfield options, however, is now wanted by Aston Villa, who are about to submit a bid.

Aston Villa about to submit bid for Everton target Habib Diarra
Everton are in the market for midfield reinforcements this summer transfer window, with Doucoure and Orel Mangala departing.
With that said, Moyes has identified Habib Diarra, who has enjoyed an impressive season with RC Strasbourg in France.
Diarra, despite only turning 21 in January, has been made captain by manager Liam Rosenior, amplifying his leadership qualities.

However, Everton could be at risk of missing out on the talented youngster, as Aston Villa are on the ‘offensive’, according to @MohamedTERParis.
The French journalist appears to be suggesting a bid is imminent, so the Toffees really need to get a move on.
Diarra stats 24/25
Despite plying his trade as a central midfielder, Diarra has been able to contribute at the top end of the pitch.
The 2004-born has registered nine goal involvements in Ligue 1 this term, so his potential arrival on Merseyside would certainly add a unique profile to the current midfield options.

Diarra was a regular in France’s youth teams before becoming a fully-fledged Senegal international last March.
If Everton do land his signature, it’d be a real coup, but they must be quick.
