Birmingham City and Wrexham have been touted as potential destinations for departing West Ham striker Danny Ings by Graeme Bailey.
Birmingham City and Wrexham are heading for the Championship after winning promotion from League One. BCFC lifted the title while the Red Dragons follow them up in the top two.
Both clubs are backed by serious financial firepower and on their rises to the second tier, they will be out to make a splash in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Blues spent big in League One to help secure their immediate promotion back, while North Wales’ Wrexham have seen a rise from the National League bankrolled by Hollywood owners with huge commercial profits posted along the way.
Now, with eye-catching deals on their radars, reporter Graeme Bailey has touted Birmingham City and Wrexham as potential destinations for departing West Ham striker Danny Ings.
The 32-year-old will be leaving the Hammers when his deal expires at the end of the season and speaking to EFL Analysis, Bailey has touted BCFC, Wrexham and former club Burnley as potential destinations. He said:
“There are a lot of options out there.
“I wouldn’t necessarily rule Burnley out of the equation. Again, we know he’s obviously had time there and did well. I think he’s another one [like Jamie Vardy] who is on the cusp; does he go to a Premier League club or maybe a top of the Championship club?

“Again, I wouldn’t rule him out of the Birmingham and Wrexham conversations at all. I think there are a lot of options out there for Danny Ings and he’s just weighing them up. Again, a bit like Vardy, I think he’d rather be in the Premier League, but he may have to drop down.”
