Chelsea face Nottingham Forest on Sunday in arguably the pick of the matches on the final day of the Premier League season.
Both sides are vying for a top five finish and a place in next season’s Champions League, with the Blues currently fifth and Forest sat in seventh.
Defeat for Enzo Maresca’s side would see them miss out on qualification, while victory would assure them a place in the competition next season.
A draw could be enough, however the West London outfit would need to rely on results elsewhere going in their favour.
In the meantime, it appears that Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of a Premier League striker.
According to TBR Football, Brighton and Hove Albion are adamant that forward Joao Pedro – who has attracted interest from several clubs including Chelsea – is not for sale this summer.

The report claims that Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all admirers of the Brazilian, who joined the Seagulls from Championship side Watford in 2023.
In total the Brazilian has scored 30 goals in 70 games for the south coast side, as well as registering ten assists.
This season he has netted ten times in just 27 Premier League games for Fabian Hurzeler’s side, helping them to challenge for a place in the Europa Conference League next term.
The report claims that interested clubs have been briefed about the player potentially being keen to leave The Amex this summer.
Brighton, however, are said to be unamused by the rumours and remain adamant that the forward is not available this summer.
Pedro, who is contracted to Brighton until 2028, is valued by the Seagulls at more than £100 million.
Newcastle United – who previously attempted to sign the forward – are also said to be interested in the player.
