Kyle Walker faces an uncertain future ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
After spending the last eight years in Manchester, Walker will 100 per cent leave Man City at the end of the season, but it remains unclear where the next chapter of his career will take place.
Having experienced a tough start to this season with City, Walker decided he wanted to join AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the campaign, and the Italian club have an option to buy the right-back during the summer.
Milan are yet to make a decision on whether they want to activate that clause or not, but a hint may have just been provided as Walker has appeared in the launch of the Serie A side’s home kit for next season.

A report on Thursday stated that Walker is hopeful of remaining at Man City next season, but that is an option the Manchester club are not likely to take up, after he left while Pep Guardiola’s side struggled mid-season.
At present, AC Milan look to be the destination where the right-back will continue his career next season as the Englishman has appeared in the promo video for the Italian club’s new home kit for the 2025/26 campaign.

This is a big hint that Walker could remain at the San Siro beyond the current season, as Milan have many players to choose from to include in the video, so why would they use the Manchester City loanee if they were not certain about keeping him?
A permanent move to Milan would be a great option for the 34-year-old, as the Serie A giants are an incredible club to represent.
Man City also have the task of trying to replace the England full-back, and that will not be easy, given how good the defender has been over the last decade at the Etihad Stadium.
Kyle Walker replacements on Man City’s transfer list
Right-back is a position Guardiola is looking to strengthen this summer, and it is believed that Flamengo’s Wesley is Man City’s top target.
There are other options on City’s list, with Newcastle’s Tino Livramento among them; however, signing the Englishman will be expensive as Eddie Howe will not want to let him go.
Man City fans have called for their club to bring Tottenham’s Pedro Porro back to Manchester after his impressive display in the Europa League final against Man United on Wednesday night, but just like Livramento, it will be a hard deal to get over the line.
There is a lot of work for City to do this summer, and it remains to be seen how important a right-back is to them ahead of the new season.
