After a difficult few years, Barcelona seemed to rediscover their mojo this season en-route to winning three trophies.
The Catalan side were the dominant side in Spanish football, winning all the major domestic honours available to them. They also came agonisingly close to reaching the Champions League final, losing out to Inter after extra-time in an enthralling semi-final.
The club have managed to battle through their recent financial difficulties, pairing their homegrown stars with some astute signings in the transfer market. The likes of Lamine Yamal, Gavi, and Pau Cubarsí have all played a starring role for Barcelona, complimented by recent big name arrivals in Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Dani Olmo.
With Barcelona's success this season, they are hoping that a couple of key additions to the squad over the summer can push them to another level in continental competition in 2026.

Speaking to Catalan radio station RAC1, Barcelona sporting director Deco admitted that the club are admirers of Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford.
We like Luis [Diaz], we like [Marcus] Rashford, and we like other players. When we go to the market, there are names that we know and that could improve the team...
Talking about players who have contracts with other clubs is complicated out of respect.
Our big priority is to strengthen what we have at home with the renewals of Pedri, Gavi, Araujo, Raphinha, and Kounde.
I understand that when people talk about signings, they always think about players coming from abroad, but for me, renewals are also signings. Lamine (renewing) is the best signing in history.
Then, if the team can be improved. From what we’ve seen this season, we need a player with a different profile to what we have to help the strikers.
Marcus Rashford is expected to leave Manchester United this summer, with the club keen to offload the forward after his recent loan spell at Aston Villa. It has been rumoured that they would seek a fee of around £40million to sanction his sale.
Luis Diaz could also leave Liverpool over the coming months, with the Merseyside team set to rejuvenate their squad during the summer window. It has been suggested that they could sell the Colombian winger in order to free up funds for a couple of incomings in forward players, with Diaz having just two years remaining on his current contract.
It will be interesting to see things play out over the coming weeks.
