Manchester City will seek to defend another trophy in their collection this year, when the Premier League outfit crosses the Atlantic Ocean for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Pep Guardiola's side, the dominant force in Premier League football over the past decade, are one of two teams from the English top-flight, alongside Chelsea who will compete at the event.
It has been a tough season for the traditionally imperious City, hampered by injuries and ill form, but they will still enter as one of the heavyweights for the tournament.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
How did Manchester City qualify for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
Manchester CIty are one of twelve European teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as one of the last three winners of the UEFA Champions League.
The Citiziens were victorious in the 2023 showpiece, where they earned a 1-0 victory over Inter Milan thanks to a goal from Rodri in Istanbul, Turkey.
That qualified them for the last edition of the FIFA Club World Cup too, which they won in Saudi Arabia with a 4-0 victory over Fluminense in late 2023.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup: Manchester City schedule
Manchester City have been drawn into Group G, alongside Al Ain (United Arab Emirates), Juventus (Italy) and Wydad AC (Morocco).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

When is the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.

How many teams are playing at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
