Manchester United will still hold a team BBQ - despite their crushing Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
The event was expected to be cancelled in the wake of the damaging loss in Bilbao. The 1-0 defeat saw United miss out on a place in the Champions League and a £100m jackpot.
Morale within the squad and coaching staff is said to be at an all-time low following United's return to Manchester from Spain. But club bosses will still hold the BBQ on Thursday at the club's Carrington training complex.
All members of Ruben Amorim's squad are expected to attend, along with some senior figures, staff and the players' families.
But the atmosphere is expected to be subdued, with a number of star names now desperate to leave United this summer.

United will hold a firesale this summer in a bid to reduce the wage bill and size of Amorim's squad.
It remains to be seen if Amorim will survive the sack, but club insiders have insisted he still has the backing of the club's board.
Amorim himself said he would walk if the club and the fans decided he was no longer the man for the job after the loss.

"In this moment, I am not going to be here defending myself, is not my style," Amorim declared. "I cannot do it, is really hard for me.
"So I have nothing to show to the fans to say I am going to improve because of this, I had these problems, I will not do nothing. In this moment, it's a little bit of faith. So let's see. Like I said before, coming here before in the flash, I am always open.
