While the WNBA superstar often is the one doing amazing things on the basketball court, on Wednesday night she was the one left in awe.
Clark, who stars for the Indiana Fever, weighed in on the thrilling comeback pulled off by the NBA’s Indiana Pacers during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final.
“PACERS ARE THE GREATEST COMEBACK TEAM IVE EVER SEEN,” she wrote on X.

While some people aren’t fans of the all-caps treatment, it is thoroughly deserved in this case.
The New York Knicks were leading by 14 points with just under three minutes to play in the fourth quarter when the Pacers got to work on an incredible comeback.
With the help of an incredible barrage of three-pointers from Aaron Nesmith, the visitors cut the lead down to two with seven seconds remaining – then Tyrese Haliburton hit the highlight of the night.
The Pacers guard dribbled the ball up the floor, was nearly stopped while attacking the paint, and then retreated towards the three-point line where he launched a shot with his foot on the line with time expiring.
The ball hit the rim and bounced high into the air before coming back down through the hoop to tie the game and send it to overtime.

From there, the Pacers took over and silenced the vociferous crowd at Madison Square Garden with a 138-131 win.
Haliburton finished the game with 31 points and 11 assists while 20 of Nesmith’s 30 points came in the fourth quarter of the victory.
Clark’s statement about the Pacers’ late-game heroics isn’t lacking evidence, either.
Wednesday night’s win over the Knicks was the third time in this year’s playoffs that Indiana has come back to win after having been trailing by at least seven points with less than 1:30 left in the game.
In fact, the Pacers trailed the Bucks by seven with 34.7 seconds left, the Cavaliers by seven with 46.7 seconds left, and the Knicks by nine with 52.5 seconds left in games this post-season and won them all.

What isn’t much of a surprise is that Clark went to bat for the Pacers after the stunning win.
Since being drafted first overall by the Fever last year, the NCAA hoops record-holder has become a hero in Indiana and a huge supporter of the Pacers.
Clark and Haliburton have become friends and the Pacers all-star was at the Fever’s season opener against the Chicago Sky last weekend.
