Aaron Donald surely doesn't look retired. The former Los Angeles Rams standout defensive tackle and future Hall of Famer shared a post of himself working out on Instagram on Tuesday.
Rapping along to a song, he bench pressed 130-pound dumbbells on an incline for 10 reps before standing up and shrugging with them, too.
"I need some heavier weights #ready #ad99 #hardworkpaysoff," Donald captioned the post.
Fans took to the comment section to theorize a possible comeback for the nine-time first-team Associated Press All-Pro and Super Bowl LVI champion. Donald retired following the 2023 season and is only 33 years old.
"The comeback is going to be crazy! 2 rings is going to be even crazier," someone said with a pair of ring emojis.
"Super freak!! Come back Week 15 for the playoff run," one fan commented.
"AD with this young defense...smh one can dream," another said.
"Come back and win another superbowl with the Rams," someone added.
"He going to be ready by the trade deadline," a fan wrote.
Over 10 years with the Rams, Donald had a decorated career. The dominant defender totaled 543 tackles, 176 tackles for loss, and 111 sacks. His 20.5 sacks led the league in 2018. He was the AP's NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, 2018, and 2020.

However, head coach Sean McVay and the team's fans shouldn't hold their breath for the obviously in-shape Donald to pull on a helmet and shoulder pads again. Donald replied to someone's comment telling him to "just go back and play" by saying "them days are done."
