Fluminense will look to build on their reputation as one of South American football's greatest heavyweights when they take to the field at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série A outfit, one of Rio's most popular clubs, will head north in search of a place in the knockout rounds, but must come through a tricky group.
With plenty of questions how they will fare against opposition from three other continents, the Tricolor will hope that they have what it takes to progress to the next stages.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN has all the information.
How did Fluminense qualify for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
Fluminense are one of six CONMEBOL teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualify as the winners of the 2023 Copa Libertadores.
Playing in Rio for the final, they defeated Boca Juniors with a 2-1 victory after extra-time to book their place, and finished as runners-up at the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in their first appearance.
2025 FIFA Club World Cup: Fluminense schedule
Fluminense have been drawn into Group F, alongside Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) and Ulsan HD (South Korea).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

When is the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.

How many teams are playing at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
