Steve Kerr, speaking on "The TK Show," expressed doubts about Jonathan Kuminga's fit in the Warriors' current rotation. Kerr stated that with the core of Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green, he doesn’t see Kuminga as someone who can play heavy minutes and still help the team win.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently expressed concerns about Jonathan Kuminga role in the team’s quest for another NBA title.

“I’ve been asked to win. And right now, he’s not a guy who I can say, I’m going to play 38 minutes with the roster we have, Steph, Jimmy, and Draymond, and put the puzzle together that way and expect to win,” Kerr said on The TK Show.
Kerr’s comments highlight the ongoing challenge of integrating young talent like Kuminga into a veteran-laden roster built around Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green.
During the 2024–25 regular season, Kuminga averaged 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over 47 games, shooting 45.4% from the field.
His performance peaked in the playoffs, particularly in the Western Conference Semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he averaged 20.8 points on 54.3% shooting from the field and 42.1% from beyond the arc.
Despite these impressive statistics, Kuminga’s role fluctuated throughout the season, especially after the midseason acquisition of Butler.
