Everton are narrowing down their list of players who could be set to leave the club at the end of the season.
David Moyes has some tough decisions to make at Finch Farm with contracts the big talking point currently at the club.
Ashley Young and Abdoulaye Doucoure will leave Everton with their contracts not being renewed by the club.
There are still a number of players who are waiting to learn their fate with the final game of the season at the weekend.
Although Everton are set for a huge summer transfer market, keeping some of their players around would ease some of the stress on the recruitment staff.
And there is one player who the club have now opened talks with over a potential new deal.

Everton open contract talks with Isaac Heath
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s agent demanded fresh contract talks with Everton earlier in the month ahead of his deal expiring.
Alongside some of the more experienced players like Calvert-Lewin, Everton are also eyeing new deals for some of their young talents.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to one club insider, Everton have now opened talks with youngster Isaac Heath to keep him at the club.
Like many others, Heath is one of the Everton players who is set to see his contract expire at the end of the campaign.
Everton are keen to keep the winger around at Finch Farm after an impressive season with the U21s.
Heath has trained with Everton’s first team this season under Moyes during Everton’s injury struggles earlier in the year.
Although he may not be a player who made much of an impact it is clear Everton believe he could be a star of the future as they do not want to lose him.
Everton are running out of time for contract solutions
Moyes will keep Seamus Coleman for next season at Everton with the veteran providing the club a lot more than just his ability on the pitch.
However, there are still a lot of players waiting to learn their fate with the likes of Idrissa Gana Gueye’s future still hanging in the balance.
Everton would be keen to keep Gueye beyond this season, but he is a player who has other opportunities on the table.
The fact there are still some players not yet signed up would suggest Everton are deep in talks, but the clock is ticking.
