Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has decided that he is ready to sanction the Old Trafford departures of Casemiro, Andre Onana, Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund in the aftermath of missing out on clinching silverware and a return to the Champions League, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.
The Portuguese tactician has not been afraid to offload big-names who do not fit into his plans, which led to Marcus Rashford being given the green-light to seal an initial loan move which includes a £40million option for Aston Villa to buy him, and he is aiming to make further alterations to his squad.
Amorim suffered Europa League final heartbreak at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week, with the north Londoners ending their 17-year wait to lift silverware thanks to Brennan Johnson's first half winner, and that has resulted in members of the Manchester United dressing room finding themselves at risk of being put on the market.

Amorim wants to sell Casemiro, Onana, Shaw and Hojlund when the transfer window reopens for business in the summer, according to GMS sources, as failing to secure European qualification will allow Manchester United to go into next season with a smaller squad to select from.
The quartet are on contracts which allow them to pocket a combined total of £935,000-per-week when all bonuses are triggered, meaning that getting them off the books will alleviate some of the pressure on the Red Devils' wage bill as they make preparations for the 2025/26 campaign.
GMS sources have been informed that Amorim has made it clear to the Manchester United hierarchy that he does not want to be left in a situation where he has to continue using Hojlund as his first-choice striker due to being surprised by his capabilities considering the amount of money spent on him.
Casemiro, Andre Onana, Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund's statistics for Manchester United this season
The Red Devils wrapped up a £72million deal in order to land the Denmark international from Serie A outfit Atalanta in August 2023, but he has struggled to make himself a constant threat in the Premier League and that has resulted in there being a growing desire to dip into the market for an upgrade.
Manchester United have refused to rule out the possibility of sending Hojlund out on loan if they cannot find a buyer, GMS sources have learned, while there is an awareness that Casemiro and Shaw will be difficult to move on due to their lucrative pay packages at Old Trafford.

GMS sources have been told that Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for Onana - who started the Europa League final defeat alongside Casemiro, Shaw and Hojlund - as there are indications that plans have been made to recruit at least one goalkeeper during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been the Red Devils' first-choice shot-stopper since sealing a switch worth up to £47.2million from Inter Milan in July 2023, but he has been unable to convince Amorim that he deserves to remain a regular starter and is among a host of names who could be given the go-ahead to embark on a fresh challenge.
Manchester United are aiming to upgrade their options between the sticks at a time when Altay Bayindir is also expected to head through the exit door, GMS sources understand, while there is particularly an eagerness to offload at least one of Casemiro or Shaw for financial reasons as much as them not being at the forefront of future plans.
