French outlet RMC Sport reports that the Reds are among several clubs that have contacted the 22-year-old to gauge interest in a transfer. He has an agreement with Frankfurt for an exit to occur should all parties receive a suitable offer for the Frenchman.

Liverpool aren't alone in their interest in Ekitike; Chelsea are also targeting the five-cap France U21 international while Arsenal are in the picture. He joined Frankfurt from PSG last summer for around £25m, and he's quickly become one of the Bundesliga's top-scoring forwards.
Frankfurt are thought to be demanding £70-85m (€80-100m) to part with Ekitike, with former club Paris Saint-Germain receiving 20% of a potential sale. He appears to be on Slot's shortlist of strikers to replace Nunez, whose days at Anfield look numbered.

He possesses a different profile to Sesko, who is more of a marksman, perhaps more akin to Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, who has ripped it up in England and is admired at Anfield.
