They have been on fire during these playoffs, and the stats prove they have been red hot.
According to the NBA, the Pacers have now had four 17-point comebacks this playoffs, which is the most by any team in a single postseason since 1988.
On top of that, they have had three seven-point comebacks in the final minute this playoffs, which has only happened four times since 1998.
The Pacers are proving that they have every right to be in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They really are the comeback kings of the NBA, and they proved that on Wednesday night.
They were down by 14 points against the New York Knicks with just minutes to go.
It seemed like the Knicks were going to sail to victory in Game 1 of the ECF, but instead, the Pacers were able to capitalize on several New York mistakes.
Because of turnovers and missed chances, the Knicks weren’t able to keep their lead, and they eventually had to battle through overtime with the Pacers.
Like the rest of the NBA, the Knicks should have been very worried when they saw the Pacers starting to close the gap between them.
They have been tremendous with comebacks all season and especially during the playoffs.
This is the sort of team that can never be counted out.
The odds and the lead don’t matter because the Pacers can find a way to stay in competition.
The Knicks surely learned their lesson on Wednesday, but now they have to bounce back after a devastating loss and take control of the series in Game 2.
They will be nervous every minute of the game, no matter the lead they have.
