Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers broke the hearts of New York Knicks fans on Wednesday night.
His final shot of the fourth quarter hit the rim, bounced high in the air, entered the net, and drove a dagger into the Knicks.
It wasn’t the first time that Haliburton lifted his team in clutch moments.
According to Legion Hoops, Haliburton is now 11-of-12 on game-tying or go-ahead shots in the last two minutes of games this season.
In other words, if the Pacers give the ball to Haliburton when it most counts, he is going to deliver.

The Knicks were aware of how dangerous Haliburton is and were attempting to limit him as he raced around the court with the ball.
The clock was winding down, Haliburton was too fast, and he posted the shot that didn’t look like it would go in.
But it did, and it led to overtime and a win for the Pacers.
The scariest part of the shot was that Haliburton was right on the line, and if he was standing just an inch back, the bucket would have been a three-pointer, and overtime wouldn’t have been needed.
This loss was horribly painful for the Knicks, but it could have been even worse if Haliburton had been standing in a different spot.
New York is going to be much more careful with Haliburton in Game 2 and beyond.
They know that if the game is tight and Haliburton has the ball, anything can happen.
There are many clutch players in the league, including New York’s Jalen Brunson.
But on Wednesday night, it was Haliburton who once again showed how he can change the game in the final seconds.
