Newcastle United are reportedly so confident of keeping Liverpool-linked forward Alexander Isak at the club this summer that he has featured in promotional videos for the next season's kits. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with moves to both Liverpool and Arsenal in recent months after an impressive couple of seasons at St James' Park since joining from Real Sociedad in 2022.

In total, the Sweden international has scored 62 goals and provided 11 assists in 108 games for Eddie Howe's side, including a winner in this season's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool. But despite Howe admitting earlier this month that he would be unable to guarantee Isak is a Newcastle player next season, it seems the Magpies are somewhat confident he will stay put at St James' Park, as he was reportedly involved in the promotion of next season's kit.

According to Mail Sport, Isak was one of several players who have been included in the promotional work around the kit, which also included Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali. The decision to include Isak in the promotional material would suggest the club are confident of keeping hold of him this summer.

Asked about his future at Newcastle ahead of the Carabao Cup final in March, Isak said: "About my future, it’s nothing really I think about. I’ve said many times during a season – just focus on the job – and now is probably the worst time to think about anything else, so all of our focus is just on Sunday and doing good and hopefully bringing the trophy back to Newcastle.

"I’ve said I’m not really thinking about the summer, but yes, that’ll probably be a talking point once the season is finished. We will really see because no talks have been held yet."

Chronicle Live reports that Newcastle bosses hope that securing Champions League qualification will quash any rumours about the forward's future. It comes after Howe refused to make any guarantees that the player would still be at St. James' Park next season.

Howe had said on Sunday: "I never make those guarantees about any player. It's not to do with Alex's future, I'd be foolish to sit here and do anything like that.

"We want to keep our strongest players. I have said that as long as I've sat in this seat. We have to keep our strongest players and bring in more good players to make us stronger because of the ambition of the club and everybody connected with it is long-term success, and that's the only way we can try to get that."
