Final Injury Report For Timberwolves-Thunder WCF Game 2

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Thursday night as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

Oklahoma City struggled in the first half of Game 1 on the offensive end on Tuesday night but that changed quickly in the second half.

In the second half, the Thunder outscored the Timberwolves 70-40 to claim a dominant victory and take a 1-0 lead in the series after another incredible performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was named the NBA MVP on Wednesday night.

Now the Thunder will look to use home court to their advantage once again on Thursday night as they try to take a commanding 2-0 series lead before the series shifts to Minnesota for Game 3 on Saturday.

Oklahoma City will also enter Thursday’s game with a clean injury report as they have only one player listed on it.

That player is Nikola Topic, who had missed his entire rookie campaign due to a torn ACL he suffered last summer.

With the Thunder’s core healthy, they will look to build off their dominant second-half performance in Game 1 on Tuesday as they try to get off to a hot start in Game 2.

On the other side, the Timberwolves also enter Thursday’s contest with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it.

Despite this, their star guard Anthony Edwards suffered a right ankle injury late in the first quarter of Game 1 and while he was able to return to the game, he did not look like his normal self.

While that may be the case, Edwards will be good to go on Thursday night and Minnesota will need him to step up as they try to avoid falling into a 2-0 hole in the series.

Fans can catch Thursday’s Game 2 matchup between the Timberwolves and Thunder at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
