The Sacramento Kings will have plenty of choices to make during the offseason this summer.
Following their exit from the NBA Play-In Tournament, the Kings and then-General Manager Monte McNair mutually agreed to part ways despite McNair winning the Executive of the Year award in 2022-23.
They quickly installed Scott Perry as the new general manager. Perry was formerly the general manager of the New York Knicks from 2017-23.

3-team mock trade lands Kings NBA Champion
With the general manager situation taken care of, Perry will likely be working closely with owner Vivek Ranadive to discuss the path they should take this summer.
They finished as the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference this past season and still have the assets and talent to make changes.
If the team decides to try and build upon last season instead of a rebuild, there will likely be plenty of trade options out there.
In a piece by Logan Struck of SI.com, he highlights a trade that would land the Kings with an NBA Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist.
With the Boston Celtics likely looking to cut costs with their new owner and with the injury suffered by star forward Jayson Tatum, Struck has the Kings landing Jrue Holiday in a three-team trade.
The Atlanta Hawks would receive Jonas Valanciunas and Sam Hauser, the Kings would receive Holiday, Jordan Walsh, and Boston's first-round pick in the upcoming draft, and the Celtics would then receive Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, Dominick Barlow, and a 2027 first-round pick from Atlanta via the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"In this deal, the Celtics receive Malik Monk and Keon Ellis from the Kings, two very talented guards who bring very different talents to the table," wrote Struck. "Monk is the ideal bench spark and a very talented scorer, while Ellis is a lockdown defender who has shown glimpses of elite 3-and-D play.
"The Kings would be receiving Holiday, 21-year-old forward Jordan Walsh, and the 28th-overall pick in this year's draft, which is helpful since Sacramento does not own their first-round pick this summer."

Putting Holiday beside DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine would bring some much-needed defense to a team that finished 24th in the league in defensive efficiency.
While they would lose that sometimes-necessary spark plug off the bench in Monk, they would be adding a true difference-maker on defense in a loaded Western Conference that doesn't look to be getting easier to navigate anytime soon.
