Bills Three Top Players Ranked By With Josh Allen Reigning as MVP

If you were to take a straw poll of who the top three players on the Buffalo Bills were, there might be a general consensus on that.

Josh Allen, the reigning MVP, has become one of the faces of the league. Tackle Dion Dawkins is one of the more dependable players at his position. And while there is debate about the best defensive player on the unit, cornerback Christian Benford is a name that is most used.

The group of Allen, Dawkins, and Benford is one of the better trios around the league. And it's something that is only enhanced by the latest grades coming out of Pro Football Focus.

Trevor Sikkema of PFF named every NFL team's three best players entering the 2025 NFL season with the Bills' trio all finding a prominent spot on his list.

"Allen earned an elite 93.1 overall offensive grade in 2024, his fifth straight season above 90.0," Sikkema wrote. "Dawkins maintained his high-level pass protection, posting an 81.6 pass-blocking grade, his eighth consecutive year above 76.0. Benford recorded 0.57 WAR, sixth among all NFL cornerbacks and the highest mark among his teammates outside of Josh Allen."

So long as the Bills have their trio of stars on both sides of the ball, they should be perfectly fine to dominate at a high level moving forward.

A Super Bowl title is the only thing that this group seems to be missing at this point. 2025 could be the year that drought comes to an end, though.
