It has all come down to this for Nottingham Forest, a final-day decider with Chelsea at the City Ground.
The Reds are already guaranteed European football of some form and can finish no lower than seventh in the Premier League table. But Champions League qualification is the prize they really want.
Securing a spot at Europe's top table is still a possibility for Forest, but their fate is not in their own hands. They need to do their bit by beating the Blues on Sunday (4pm kick-off) but also require other results to go their way to finish in the top five.
Victory would put the Reds on 68 points and take them above their opponents. But to go above another team, they need either Aston Villa to not beat Manchester United (to finish on 66 or 67 points) or Newcastle United not to triumph over Everton (to also end up on 66 or 67 points).
There is a scenario where Forest could finish as one of three teams on 66 points if they draw. However, in that instance, they would almost certainly finish in sixth on goal difference.
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo's main focus going into the weekend will be to set his team up to win. Whatever happens, it has been an incredible campaign for the Reds and they will want to sign off in style.
Last Sunday's 2-1 victory over West Ham United ensured Forest's Champions League fight would go right down to the wire. The dilemma for Nuno is whether to stick or twist when it comes to selecting his XI to face Chelsea.
Centre-back Murillo hurt his ankle in the final minutes of the first half against the Hammers. He was clearly in discomfort but was able to see out the rest of the game and should be fit for this weekend. Fellow Brazilian Morato could step in if necessary.
It is further up the pitch where Nuno really has a decision to make. Callum Hudson-Odoi made his return from injury as a second-half substitute at the London Stadium. If he is fully fit, should he start this time around?
Nicolas Dominguez has shown he can do a job out wide in Hudson-Odoi's absence, but he is not a natural winger. Having the former Chelsea man on one flank and Anthony Elanga on the other would restore a sense of balance.
If Nuno goes down that route, who then drops out? It wouldn't necessarily be a case of Dominguez automatically being the fall guy.
The Argentine has been excellent for much of this season and has worked very well alongside Elliot Anderson in the centre of the pitch previously. Equally, Ibrahim Sangare has been superb in midfield in the last few games and has built up some momentum with his performances.
Ryan Yates and Danilo offer other options for Nuno. The former will be desperate to be involved in such a decisive game, well aware how much it means to the home crowd.
The likelihood is it will be a choice between Dominguez and Sangare to partner Anderson in midfield, though, assuming Hudson-Odoi starts. It is not an easy decision to make.
Predicted Forest XI to face Chelsea: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Sangare, Anderson; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.
