Ever since the Milwaukee Bucks have been eliminated from the 2025 NBA playoffs, there have been plenty of trade rumors regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo. Some believe the Bucks star will request a trade out of Milwaukee after three straight years where the team was eliminated in the first round.
Since the Bucks won the title in 2021, things haven't been the same. They've fired Mike Budenholzer, the coach who led them to a title, two years after they were named champions. The organization also traded a few important players who helped Antetokounmpo win.
The Bucks' lack of success could impact Antetokounmpo's decision this summer. It was reported by ESPN's Shams Charania that the nine-time All-Star will discuss his future with the management this offseason.

Everyone's looking forward to the next update regarding Antetokounmpo, and TMZ Sports had their chance on Thursday. The media outlet saw Bucks head coach Doc Rivers and asked about the trade rumors regarding the star forward.
However, he dismissed the rumors and avoided answering them. Rivers said he always plays with Antetokounmpo even though their season has been over for a while.
"Guys, I'm not doing all that," he said. "I talk to him all the time. You can move on now, thank you."
According to Charania, Antetokounmpo is open to taking his talents elsewhere.
The Bucks star has spent his entire career with one franchise and has never asked to be traded. However, the postseason woes they've experienced over the past few years have made it difficult for Antetokounmpo to keep the team competitive.
