Everton ace Ashley Young is set to leave the club after two years on Merseyside, and he has been speaking to the media about what is next.
Young joined Everton on a free transfer in 2023, and has since made 69 appearances, mostly coming at fullback.
The veteran has had iconic spells with Manchester United and Aston Villa among others, and Young’s next move is currently unclear.
Young did fire a warning to Man United manager Ruben Amorim, after his former side were beaten in the Europa League final, but his interview was otherwise disastrous for a hilarious reason.

Jeff Stelling and Gabby Agbonlahor mock Young after interview
Young then spoke about the final game at Goodison Park, which Everton won 2-0, in a talkSPORT interview with Jeff Stelling and Gabby Agbonlahor on Thursday (22 May).

However, his internet cut out several times, which prompted hosts Stelling and Agbonlahor to mock the 39-year-old, and call out the Finch Farm facilities.
“Frozen again. The Wifi’s no good at Everton’s training ground,” Agbonlahor joked after Young cut out mid-speech when discussing the win over Southampton.

“They’ve got to upgrade it from 2G, haven’t they,” Stelling responded.
Young to bid farewell to Everton
Everton’s final game of the season will see them take on Newcastle at St James’ Park, in which they will hope to spoil the home side’s chances of finishing in the top five.
This is a match which could see several players play in the Everton blue for the final time, including Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Young could make his final appearance for the Toffees as well, having started the last two games after he was left out of the starting lineup a lot in recent weeks.
The veteran has had a mixed spell at Everton, with some mistakes to his name, but he has brought a wealth of experience to the dressing room, and with his future uncertain, this could be his 485th and final Premier League match.
The former England international has had a stellar career, but his best days came for Aston Villa and Man United rather than Everton.
