Newcastle’s new kit for 2025/26 – First official photos and announcement video

After months of speculation and rumoured leaks, official images have now been released on Newcastle United’s new home kit for the 2025/26 season.

The recent leaks appear to be true, as the black and white design features a light blue trim and zig-zag edge to the front of shirt stripes. The home goalkeeper kit will also be blue.

Adidas’ 8am post on social media confirms that our new 25/26 home jersey will become available on Thursday 29th May.

See the first official photos below, with the latest design set to be worn on Newcastle’s return to Europe next season; whether that’s in the Champions League with a win on Sunday or Europa League:

Based on the responded to Adidas’ surprise post, the response has been mixed so far.

Some says it’s growing on them after initial leaks left them underwhelmed, others love the blue trim and a few have suggested a gold trim would’ve been better to celebrate just lifting our first major trophy for 70 years.

One feature we don’t take for granted is the iconic badge. Sadly, it looks like this may be the last kit that dons the seahorses as we plan to switch to a new ‘digital age’ crest for 2026/27.
