Denver Nuggets await a busy summer after losing in 7 games to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Western semifinals.
It's been rumored that they might deal with their current core, but it looks like that won't be the case.
According to Sam Amico of Hoops Wire, Nuggets are hesitant to shake up their core as of now:
“So even with Nikola Jokic as the main man, the Nuggets still need help. Sources say they’re hesitant to part ways with core members of their 2023 championship team."
"Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and now, Christian Braun. Obviously, Jokic isn’t going anywhere.”
Nuggets have only two first round picks through 2032, so only ways for improvement are trades or internal development.
