Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been awarded with the MVP prize for 2024-25 campaign.
There is one particular thing that he has in common with 9 previous MVP winners.
Since Russell Westbrook was awarded in 2017, we had 9 consecutive years of a player without a tattoo winning the MVP.
Of course this does not translate to the court at all, but it is a fun fact for basketball nerds, as there were six different players since Westbrook's campaign.
