Fulham’s Carlos Vinícius was on loan at Galatasaray during the second half of last season.
Since returning to Fulham, the striker lost prominence and to put it in context, he’s played just 14 minutes from four games this season. He’s been behind Rodrigo Muniz and Raúl Jiménez in the pecking order.
The Brazilian has just over a month left on his contract, with an option for another year.
It’s not clear whether Fulham can activate it unilaterally, but the 30-year-old has no plans to continue beyond this season.
That’s according to Globo Esporte, who state the frontman will not renew his contract with Marco Silva’s side.
Carlos Vinícius will leave the Premier League club as a free agent, according to the report, and it’s unclear where he will move next.
Globo’s claim is echoed by ESPN in Brazil, who also state the Fulham player will not renew his contract. This allows him to join a new club on a free transfer in the summer window, and ESPN state a return to Brazil remains an option.
Carlos Vinícius joined Fulham in 2022 and played 52 games, managing eight goals and three assists in the process.
