Florian Wirtz has reportedly been looking for houses in England ahead of a potential move to Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year-old is the Reds' top target this summer, and they are prepared to spend big on the Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder. He's also on Bayern Munich's radar, while Manchester City have dropped out of the race because of concerns over the finances involved in a deal.
Liverpool have met with Wirtz's parents to put forward their project, and the 29-cap Germany international is "greatly impressed". He is expected to leave Leverkusen this summer, and a move to Anfield is gaining weight.

German outlet BILD reports that while Bayern are viewed as favourites to sign Wirtz, he's taken a significant step towards a potential move to Liverpool. He's said to have "looked at the area, looked at houses" because the Reds are "giving it their all" to seal his signature.
Leverkusen are demanding £126m for Wirtz, which would shatter the club's current transfer record of £75m spent on Virgil van Dijk in 2018. They are getting "really serious" and prepared to "pay anything" to sign the attacker with two years left on his contract.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed Liverpool's meeting with Wirtz's parents had taken place and that he was "quite open to listening." If he opts for Merseyside over Munich, he could follow Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong through the door.
Frimpong is set to become Arne Slot's first summer signing. The Dutch full-back will join the Reds in a £30m deal and replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who's headed for Real Madrid once his contract expires next month.
Wirtz, dubbed a "special talent" by Xabi Alonso, is an attacking midfielder by trade but can operate in several other positions, including out wide. He is one of German football's brightest stars alongside Jamal Musiala of Bayern and could slot into a midfield three alongside Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister.
