Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy has not been named in the England squad.
Thomas Tuchel has named his latest Three Lions squad for a World Cup qualifier against Andorra and a friendly against Senegal, and it includes two Newcastle United players.
Dan Burn and Anthony Gordon have retained their places in the England squad, with the former making his international debut during the previous round of matches.
However, Jacob Murphy will not be joining them on England duty.
That is despite the 30-year-old enjoying an incredibly rich vein of form. He has provided nine goals and 14 assists this season, proving to be one of the Premier League’s most influential right wingers.
Murphy recently spoke about what he could bring to England, but Tuchel has opted to snub the £12million player.

Another Newcastle United player snubbed by Thomas Tuchel
However, that is not the biggest shock when it comes to Newcastle United players missing out.
Tuchel has also opted not to call up Tino Livramento.

The 22-year-old had been named in Tuchel’s first squad, but did not feature against Albania or Latvia.
He has now been dropped from the squad, with the likes of Reece James, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kyle Walker and Myles Lewis-Skelly named as full-back options.
The exclusion of Livramento feels extremely harsh. He has been wonderfully consistent for the Magpies in 2025, while he has shown his versatility with his performances on the left of defence.
Despite his impressive form, Tuchel has decided against calling up the £32million man.
Former Newcastle United player returns for England
One player who has been selected is former Newcastle United striker Ivan Toney.
He is one of three strikers in the squad alongside Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins.
It is the first time that Toney has been selected since Euro 2024. The 29-year-old moved to Saudi Arabia a few months after that tournament, leaving Brentford to sign for Al Ahli for £40million.
Toney, who has scored 29 goals in 43 appearances for Al Ahli this season, played four times for Newcastle United during his Toon career.
