Alejandro Garnacho transfer window asking price revealed

Manchester United’s chaotic end to the season has opened the door to major squad upheaval, with dressing room tensions bubbling beneath the surface following their Europa League final loss to Tottenham.

Despite public support from senior players for manager Ruben Amorim, there’s growing concern behind the scenes, with some stars questioning the tactical rigidity and selection decisions made by the Portuguese boss.

One of the most talked-about issues post-Bilbao has been Amorim’s team selection — and it’s the name missing from the starting XI that’s caused the biggest stir.

Alejandro Garnacho, a fan favourite and one of United’s most electric attacking threats this season, was controversially benched for the final.

Now, his future at Old Trafford is in serious doubt.

Garnacho’s omission did not go unnoticed — by fans, pundits, or the player himself.

The Argentine winger had featured in every round of the competition up until the final, but was only given 20 minutes off the bench in the showpiece against Spurs.

Following the match, Alejandro Garnacho didn’t hold back, saying: “Until we reached the final, I played every round.

“And I played 20 minutes today. I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.”

His frustration was further echoed by his brother and agent, Roberto, who accused Amorim of “throwing” Garnacho “under the bus.”

Amorim, for his part, defended the decision, referencing Garnacho’s crucial miss in the semi-final and suggesting it influenced his thinking for the final.

The fallout from this decision has sparked fresh speculation over Garnacho’s future, with reports indicating United would consider offers in the region of £60 million, as per The Telegraph.

Chelsea and Napoli — who both submitted bids in January — are expected to reignite their interest this summer.

With tensions rising and rifts forming, Garnacho’s time at Old Trafford may be entering its final chapter.
