Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is in talks to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal this summer amid a lack of interest from Manchester United, FootMercato has reported.
The Nigerian forward is expected to leave the Serie A side permanently with a year left on his contract and wants to find a new club ‘quickly’ after an impressive season in Turkey.
While he was linked with a big-money switch to Old Trafford earlier this year, FootMercato claim INEOS are not particularly keen on Osimhen at the moment.
As a result, the 26-year-old is ‘starting to feel the pressure’ with several weeks remaining until the market reopens and is eager to resolve his future swiftly, with Al-Hilal now showing strong interest.

According to FootMercato, Al-Hilal have earmarked Osimhen as an ‘ideal’ striker signing this summer and are ready to match his hefty salary demands.
Talks between the Galatasaray loanee and the Saudi club are believed to be ongoing and ‘moving in the right direction’ as he looks set to leave Napoli permanently.
Osimhen was frozen out of Napoli’s first-team squad by Antonio Conte last summer and was heavily linked with a Premier League switch.
The 26-year-old, praised as ‘the best striker in the world’, was reportedly eyed by Chelsea as another striker option alongside Nicolas Jackson, but ‘rejected’ their contract proposal and opted for Galatasaray instead.
Man United are expected to bring in a new out-and-out striker this summer, who is likely to arrive alongside Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian forward is in advanced talks to become Ruben Amorim’s first off-season signing, with United expected to pay his £62.5m release clause in instalments.
