David Moyes will hold an Everton press conference at Finch Farm today
David Moyes will this afternoon speak to the media to preview Everton’s upcoming Premier League clash against Newcastle United. Sunday’s match is the Blues’ final game of the 2024/25 campaign and the Scot is likely to be asked about his side's season.
Moyes is also set to be quizzed about his memories of Goodison Park following last weekend’s farewell. There will also be much talk about transfers, contracts and more as Everton turn their thoughts to the future.
Abdoulaye Doucoure has also confirmed he is leaving Everton when his deal ends next month. His goal against Bournemouth on the final day of the 2022-23 season kept the Blues in the Premier League, but he was asked to take a pay cut to remain at the club.
Doucoure will depart along with Ashley Young, Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia, who are also out of contract. Everton are yet to announce if other players whose deals expire in the summer, including Idrissa Gueye, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane, will stay or go.
