After nearly two years, one of Manchester United’s former defenders has finally received his verdict after being arrested for dangerous driving back in August 2023.
Two years ago, after speeding at nearly 100 mph, Brandon William’s Audi A3 hit a Ford Fiesta and crashed into the central reservation on the A34.
Not alone in the car, Williams was accompanied by a female passenger who was reportedly filming the pair as he drive.
There has also been reports of witnesses seeing Williams with a balloon at his mouth while driving, however the 24-year-old has provided no comment on the accusations.
Now, 21 months later, Williams has appeared in Chester Crown Court to learn of his fate from the justice system.

The Daily Mail has reported that Williams has been handed a 14-month suspended sentence and a three year ban from driving.
Speaking on the case, CPS senior crown prosecutor Andrew Madden commented: “Brandon Williams’ driving on that day clearly fell far below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver.
“Witnesses said Williams kept speeding up and then breaking sharply. It was clear he wasn’t in control of the vehicle.
“The driving was erratic and the speed was grossly excessive. Eventually, Williams lost control completely and crashed. It is a fortunate no one was seriously injured or killed.”
