GdS: Milan Futuro to take inspiration from Barcelona B after relegation – the vision

**Milan Futuro suffered the embarrassment of relegation to Serie D in their first season, which will alter the plans for 2025-26.**

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports that there is still a chance of getting a spot back in Serie C, even if [**the possibility is slim**](https://sempremilan.com/why-milan-futuro-fourth-serie-c-repechage) given what is established by the regulatory framework.

Either way, Milan Futuro will change. The project is moving forward, but the squad will be younger and composed mainly of players who will come out of the Primavera. In short, it will be similar to the strategy adopted by Barcelona’s B team, which is about to be relegated to the fourth tier too.

The goal is to further encourage the development of youth products by creating an intermediate step between the Primavera and the first team. That was what Milan Futuro was supposed to do last summer, before the change in plans in the winter window to try to stay up.

Igli Tare’s arrival will allow the management structure that will work with the Under 23s to be defined. The coach issue must be addressed: Massimo Oddo and Mauro Tassotti’s work is considered positive, even if it was not enough to avoid relegation.

The Futuro have launched Alex Jimenez, given minutes to Davide Bartesaghi, granted space to the jewel Francesco Camarda, shown that Kevin Zeroli was already ready a Serie A loan and allowed some Primavera players (Mattia Liberali above all) to appear among the pros. That is the vision to continue.
